Advisor, Organizational Development (temporary - 15 months)

Job Description:

As an Advisor organizational development, you will be a part of the Talent Development Team which itself is a member of the Talent & Employee Experience Function at Cogeco. Your role will be to support the team in matters of organizational development, elaboration and delivery of key initiatives in training, engagement and employee experience.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deploy people initiatives that create new experiences, build new capability and drive organizational change that will deepen Cogeco values, shape culture and collaboration in alignment to deliver on Cogeco’s strategic plan;
  • Launch programs, tools, interventions and initiatives related to best practices in organizational development, to build new leadership capability in order to ease and sustain transformation and change;
  • Be a source of change management support for projects (low-med complexity), leading the execution of change initiatives;
  • Coordinate and manage talent programs for the organization: coordinating talent identification, planning for succession of management, ensuring the follow-through of individual development plans, developing a model for headcount forecasting, reviewing competencies models and the performance management process;
  • Administrate the engagement survey as well as action planning. Support the HRBPs in the analysis and cascading of results within their client groups;
  • Design, develop and facilitate different types of development and training activities and programs. Build coaching capability to support employee development and performance;
  • Collaborate with HR, business leaders and vendors to design, build, pilot and measure programs in the development of leadership and in improvement of the employee experience;
  • Develop and identify improvements in organizational development subjects and provide recommendations for the strategic direction of Cogeco in the development or change of programs touching the entire organization;
  • Support broader HR team in delivering core processes and programming.

Job requirements:

  • University degree or combination of equivalent education and work experience required
  • Bachelor degree in Human Resource Management or Industrial Relations
  • Masters in organizational development an asset
  • Member of the CHRA
  • 5-7 year of relevant experience in learning, organizational development or human resources
  • Passionate about creating digital experiences employees love and co-creating the workforce of the future
  • Bilingual (English and French) and at ease communicating orally and in writing in both languages. You have excellent writing skills
  • Able to build concrete and relevant recommendations from complex and large scale organization challenges
  • Experienced in managing and building business processes and programs
  • Proven n scoping, baselining and improving processes to achieve and sustain new levels of performance
  • Good interpersonally, you can build credibility and relationships easily across the organization and specifically with management and HR Operations and business partners
  • Interested and competent with technology: able to propose and use technological solutions in the area of organizational development (familiarity with LMS, Performance Management system as well as training software an asset), if you master collaboration tools in the Google (G-suite) we want you!
  • Mastery of PowerPoint and Excel (pivot tables)
