Job Description:

: Responsible for developing and completing reporting and data reviews for all programs. This includes, but not limited to, oversight of data management (receipt, loads, and validation), developing and coordinating sales and traffic data as well as any other KPI and Performance data for Cogeco Sales and Support teams as well as other operational teams across both provinces.


Responsible for developing, reporting and providing insight from reporting models including performance, commission/reward models, developing models for inquiries, providing deep dives on key programs, developing reporting and post-mortems on initiatives/pilots, providing reporting on all KPIs, and other tasks as required.

Job Responsibilities:


  1. Validates the receipt and load of data from various sources to dashboards and databases and provides feedback to team/management when impacts occur.
  2. Prepares reports and various statistical data for monitoring, review and correlating sales information or kpi as needed.
  3. Supports other ongoing projects and channel support with inquiries for reporting on all KPIs.
  1. Gathersand reports on data from multiple sources, using query tools available and reviews, sorts and organizes the data in a format relevant to the audience. Aligns reports in a format that is applicable to the scope of each business request and where applicable identifies areas for development.
  2. Utilizes reporting to look for emerging trends and variances in order to support operational change based on business needs/requests.
  3. Assists with other requests as required and performs special projects as assigned.
  4.  Where applicable, may acts in an administrative role to work closely with the internal teams as well as national finance teams, budget team, revenue assurance, cost management as well as sales reporting.
  5. As required, responsible for group administrative tasks to support the team and management group.
  6. As part of his/her function, incumbent must take all necessary measures to ensure their health and safety at work and that of employees under their responsibility, while seeing to the protection of the general public.  They must make sure employees under their responsibility comply with all Health & Safety instructions, guidelines, policies and procedures.
  7. To support Cogeco’s ultimate goal of providing excellent service to current and potential customers, the incumbent must be constantly attentive and responsive to both external and internal customers’ needs and assist in the resolution of any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner while ensuring that the solution meets the customer’s needs.

Job requirements:




  • College Diploma in relevant discipline or combination of equivalent education and work experience required.




  • Minimum 3-5  year relevant experience in an data driven reporting capacity
  • Must be detail oriented with demonstrated analytical skills and experience in preparing complex reporting and building models
  • Experience analyzing and summarizing sales performance for all levels of a team
  • Ability to interpret computer data with prior experience in sales analysis and reporting



  • Very proficient in Google Drive applications (Docs, Sheets, Slides with a knowledge of Drive and Hangouts), as well as with Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong working knowledge of SQL Database management tool, with SSRS reporting isbe an asset
  •  Knowledge of Tableau and Data Studio or other BI Reporting systems is an asset.
  • Strong working knowledge of Compass and IEX systems is an asset.  Well established communication skills, interpersonal, organizational and planning skills

Strong attention to details, with relevant customer service experience and the ability to establish good working relationships across company disciplines

  • Experienced in effectively coordinating multiple projects, executing multiple tasks simultaneously and efficiently while working with conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self motivated with the ability to take initiative in identifying and resolving problems independently.  Monitors own work for quality.
  • Responds accordingly to priorities and processes as outlined by manager.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to “think outside the box” and see the “big picture” impact of decisions/actions.
  • Ability to accurately process a high volume of information within prescribed and conflicting timelines
  • Existing knowledge of Cogeco’s CATV, Internet and digital phone products with a general understanding of broadband, telecom, cable and Internet industries
  • Experience working in a sales channel at Cogeco is an asset
