We seek a Product owner - Marketing Automation (Salesforce Marketing Cloud/ExactTarget Guru) who will be responsible for the email marketing program, marketing automation systems and their processes, including strategy, platform implementation, design, development and management, as well as contribute to establishing data-driven marketing practice throughout Cogeco.  

You will strategize, optimizing campaigns to achieve your objectives, as well as maintain and improve the entire customer digital experience.  

Our ideal candidate is organized, proactive and energetic, has digital marketing and business savvy, and is inspiring. He is an experienced and agile product owner who works with cross-functional collaborators. He should have extensive experience in digital marketing, digital marketing technologies, CRM or Salesforce Marketing Cloud implementation and execution.  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Define a marketing automation plan, comprised of strategies for developing personalized, automated omni-channel customer lifecycle campaigns leveraging Salesforce Marketing Cloud/ExactTarget capabilities (such as Journey Builder, Email Studio, Mobile Studio and Advertising Studio).
  • Plan, launch, maintain, test and improve automated tactical campaigns targeting potential or current customers, in order to meet established objectives.
  • Design and implement lead generation and scoring campaigns, as well as data augmentation strategies.  
  • Establish KPIs and configure standard reports to measure the impact of campaigns as well as business results.
  • Serve as the marketing automation and email marketing practice leader for other team members, using Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Act as the Product owner, using the agile methodology : Vision, own and write user stories and acceptance criterias, building and managing the backlog, organize sprints, organize daily scrums and retrospectives, communicate requirements to team members and business collaborators.

Job requirements:

  • 8-10 years of experience in digital marketing, digital technologies (martech) or SaaS / Digital product management.
  • Experience working with Agile, Lean, or similar development methodologies.
  • University degree related to digital marketing, computer science or online technologies or a combination of any equivalent education and experience.
  • Experience launching, measuring, and optimizing customer experiences across multiple marketing or call center SaaS technologies including ESPs, CRM, etc.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in French and English.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to remain focused on high-priority items, manage the roadmap and update the plan as the environment evolves.
