Reporting to the Senior Director of Global Sourcing and Category Management, the Strategic Contracts Manager must manage the day-to-day business relationship with a few strategic suppliers. The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting the project teams to accomplish a successful delivery of some of the organization’s key initiatives by ensuring the suppliers under his/her scope fulfill each of their obligations and perform as contractually committed.
In this role, the Strategic Contract Manager will have to develop a collaborative environment with its suppliers which promotes problem-solving and identification of opportunities for improvement and cost reductions. Working with the project teams, the candidate will have to negotiate change requests or claims in the event of default by suppliers. The selected candidate will be autonomous, curious, structured and rigorous. He or she will work effectively with the different stakeholders involved in the projects and will communicate the required information to the executive committee.
