ALERT: Recruitment Fraud

Recruitment fraud can take many forms including email, text, phone call, social media, or website job posting. It’s possible that an individual or group will claim to represent Cogeco and/or its business units and will approach job seekers with the prospect of employment. The intention of the fraud is to build trust and then ask potential victims to pay fees or provide personal information.

Cogeco is committed to an ethical and fair recruitment process. We take these attempts to defraud the public very seriously. The recruitment process at Cogeco involves meeting with the candidate for an interview before any formal offer is made. Furthermore, Cogeco does not require payment from anyone seeking employment with us at any point during the recruitment and/or selection process.
