The incumbent will be responsible for developing and implementing  the Cogeco Business Solutions marketing and communications strategy across the full scope of the CBS Retail and Wholesale categories. He/she will lead a small team and will also be responsible for creating offers, solutions and promotions for increasing CBS market share across all product lines and categories.  These responsibilities will be owned across a fully mapped business solutions customer journey.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the CBS performance by developing and implementing the marketing and communications plans for all CBS categories (Retail and Wholesale across Data, Voice, Video, and Managed Services).
  • Owns the CBS Customer Journey map and develops digital programs to engage and nurture leads to drive acquisition as well as manage associated communications opportunities within the existing customer base to drive loyalty, retention, renewals, customer experience, net promoter scores, and cross-sell and upsell.
  • Lead the development of customer communications strategies and tactics to fulfill marketing programs, with a focus on digital and emerging tactics, in partnership with corporate communications and in full alignment with the Cogeco branding guidelines.
  • Manages offers and promotions across the suite of CBS product lines, developing strategies linked to sales performance and the competitive price environment across our territories in both Ontario and Quebec for both the Retail and Wholesale categories.
  • Gathers information on markets, monitors competitors’ services, rates and promotions on an ongoing basis and ensures that all information about the competition is accurate and distributed across all sales channels.
  • Participates in and contributes to the strategic planning and budgeting processes.

Job requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business administration or commerce.  
  • 10 years of experience in marketing
  • 3 years of team management experience
  • Knowledge of the business-to-business, both Retail and Wholesale, market is an asset.
  • Experience in the telecommunications industry is an asset.
  • Team player able to work in multidisciplinary groups.
  • Excellent English and French oral and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and very customer-focused.
  • Superior strategic and problem-solving skills
